  • Vitamin A Laboratory External Quality Assurance (VITAL EQA) program for serum/plasma retinol determination
  • Ensuring the Quality of Urinary Iodine Procedure (EQUIP) program for urinary iodine excretion (UIE) determination
  • The only Philippine laboratory that analyzes serum/plasma Vitamin A and UIE Equipped with modern instrumentation: HPLC, UV-VIS Spectrophotometer Gamma Counter, AAS

How to avail of BASL Services
1) Send letter of request addressed to the Director
2) Conduct meeting/signing of Agreement or Conforme letter
3) Submit samples . Pay full cost of analysis to FNRI cashier
4) Conduct analysis/test of samples submitted
6) Claim Report of Analysis from BASL on assigned date

Fees will be computed based on materials needed, equipment and resources required to complete the project/request
