These are the assessment criteria set out by Dr. Sally O’ Connor and Ms. Criselda Cruz, Fellows of the US National Science Foundation (NSF) during a visit to the DOST-Food and Nutrition Research Institute (DOST-FNRI) on April 8, 2022.

While they say that the Filipino children are the hope and future of our country, their shot for an equal opportunity to have a healthy and good quality of life is our responsibility. Malnutrition confronts and threatens our young children and collective efforts and commitment from intersectoral linkages and partnerships are the best solutions to address this.
