๐ฝ๐น๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ ๐ ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด
DOST-FNRI and the United Nations Childrenโs Fund (UNICEF) engaged in an exploratory meeting on mechanisms for coordination and collaboration to address data gaps in the National Nutrition Survey (NNS). Also tackled was the need to boost data dissemination and communication to enhance the use of NNS data in policymaking and program implementation.
UNICEF sought DOST-FNRI's support in developing a comprehensive database for children, which will be integrated into the "Situation of Children Philippines" portal. This portal was created in partnership with the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), the Council for the Welfare of Children (CWC), and the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA). DOST-FNRI welcomed the initiative, noting that linking NNS data to the UNICEF portal would help expand its reach.
