As part of the activities of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the BIOTECH Japan (BTJ) Corporation, the Department of Science and Technology - Food and Nutrition Research Institute (DOST-FNRI) headed by its Director, Dr. Mario V. Capanzana visited Niigata, Japan on April 17-22, 2017 for the Project entitled “Verification Survey with the Private Sector for Utilizing and Disseminating Japanese Technologies for Low Protein Rice for Dietary Therapy of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) in the Philippines”.
